Follow the steps below to create a local copy of ApiDiff sourcecode:
  1. Make sure you have all the development tools listed in the project requirements
  2. Click on the Source Code tab at the top of the page. From there you can choose either:
    • Download and extract a zipped copy
    • Clone from the Mercurial server using the settings under the Source Control section

Zipped files

  1. Unzip the file into a new folder

Mercurial/TortoiseHg

  1. First, make sure you set your full name in TortoiseHg so we know who has checked in which changeset.
  2. Create a new folder
  3. Clone the repository using hg from the command line or from explorer by right clicking and using TortoiseHg -> Clone.
  4. Either method will take a few minutes to clone the repository to your machine.
